Dreams is a multi-layered video installation exploring the fragmented and shifting nature of the subconscious. The work is projected across five suspended sheets of translucent organza, creating an immersive environment where three interconnected narratives memory, nightmare, and hope overlap and dissolve into one another.
As viewers move through the installation, the projected imagery shifts across the translucent surfaces, creating changing relationships between image, space, and perception. Digital distortion and visual glitches became part of the work’s language, reflecting the instability and imperfection of memory and the way dreams continuously transform. As my first exploration of digital video and installation, the project became an experiment in using projection, material, movement, and technology to transform a two-dimensional image into an immersive spatial experience.
