Academic Project | Nine-Square Grid Exercise
Concentric Choreographies explores how geometry, symmetry, light, and materiality can shape movement and perception within space. Developed from the nine-square grid exercise, the project transforms a rigid geometric framework into a dynamic spatial experience through a series of concentric circular forms.
Layered geometries blur the boundary between interior and exterior, while sculptural edges and transparent glass allow light, reflection, and visibility to become active elements of the architecture. A sequence of vertical columns interrupts the circular rhythm, creating moments of compression and release that choreograph movement through the space.
The project investigates the tension between order and movement, using repetition, transparency, and spatial layering to create an environment that feels both structured and continuously changing.
